Congratulations to Sharpeye team riders Kanoa Igarashi and Jake Marshall who have both placed equal 5th at the Pro Taghazout Bay - Men's QS 5,000 held at Anchor Point, Taghazout Bay, Morocco. Both surfers are now sitting in the top 20 on the WQS ratings and have had a great start to the competition season.
"This wave is definitely similar to Snapper and I'm probably going to be riding the same boards there so it's good to get some practice before the first event of the year" said Kanoa.
Kanoa along with fellow Sharpeye team riders Filipe Toledo and Tatiana Weston-Webb will be competing at Snapper Rocks for the first stop of the WCT season at the Corona Open, Gold Coast between March 26 - April 5, 2020. If you're on the Goldy during these dates come down and support the Sharpeye team.
If you're interested in getting your mitts on one of Kanoa's or any of Sharpeye teams used boards check out our secondhand page at https://www.sharpeyesurfboards.com.au/store/second-hand-surfboards or pop into The Glass Lab at Tweed Heads where the team from Sharpeye will be happy to help you out.
Good luck for the rest of the QS season.
