Sharpeye have just released the latest edition to their model range - the Maguro. Check out the video below for more information.
MAGURO means, “blue fin tuna” in Japanese. One of the fastest fish in the ocean. This is Sharpeye's latest small wave design following the modern 2 concept. The Maguro was designed as a mix between the classic San Diego fish and a modern twin. The tail is a classic swallow (split tail) with 5” deep and 10” wide. This characteristic creates a sharp turning tail with a good amount of drive and hold. The bottom is a classic vee all the way to the tail; the deck is flat with a modern soft rail; the rocker/ foil combo was improved if compared with the traditional 70’s fish to allow the surfer to carve classic lines or to rip like a high performance small wave design. The Maguro was designed as the classic twin keel (also available in quad if desired). It should be ridden 3 to 4 inches smaller than your height.
